RIP Brittany Maynard

Now that 29 year-old Brittany Maynard has fulfilled her last wish of dying with dignity, we can take a quiet moment to ask ourselves how we feel about assisted suicide.  Brittany had to move to Oregon to do this, since it is one of only five States that has a so-called "Death with Dignity" Act.  What occurred in Brittany's case would be murder in most other states.  How do you feel about this?  Should we all be able to choose the place, time, and manner of our death?  Or should we let the process occur naturally, no matter how badly we suffer.  Christians note that the Bible is replete with references to suffering as being a necessary part of human existence.  Others argue that while life is precious, individual liberty is even more important.  What would you do?
